About The Captain

Captain Tim has over 21 years experience as a boat captain and dive instructor, and has fished most of his life. Capt. Tim grew up in Tennessee fishing for catfish and bluegill, but once he got a taste of saltwater fishing in Destin, he was hooked!

Tim graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor's degree in biology, also becoming a PADI Scuba Instructor. After moving to Destin in the early '80s, Tim moved to the Virgin Islands where he became a licensed boat captain a year later. He spent the next 8 years diving,teaching, and fishing in the Virgin Islands, coming to visit his parents in Destin when he went on vacation! In 1993 Capt. Tim moved back to Destin and has been fishing and diving here since.

Capt. Tim has fished and dived the beautiful emerald green waters of Destin, the waters surrounding St. John in the caribbean, and has fished the waters of Costa Rica, Panama, Puerto Rico, Bahamas and the Atlantic ocean.

But Destin is his home, and where he chooses to fish! Capt. Tim enjoys taking both newcomers and experienced anglers alike. Teaching kids to fish and having them catch their first fish is always fun!

Capt. Tim likes to say: "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and he forgets about eating!"
